Searchers are dialing up things they're thankful for. Squeezed between Halloween hysteria and Yuletide frenzy, Thanksgiving holds its own: For the first time in a long while, this month's searches on "thanksgiving" are higher than "christmas."
Besides the legion of food choices, people are looking for ways to make the day memorable with Thanksgiving-related crafts, coloring pages, and activities. We hope everyone is ready to share words of appreciation about the holiday with a "thanksgiving prayer," poem, quote, song, or joke.
Finally, we see an extra helping of searches on Sarah Josepha Hale, the woman who campaigned to make this day a national observance. The Buzz lifts a glass to Mrs. Hale, who wanted to "make every American home the place of plenty and of rejoicing." We're all for that.
