He may not be Bond, but British hunk Clive Owen has it all. Since his most recent film ("Children of Men") was released, his buzz has eclipsed that of Daniel Craig. Lookups on "clive owen" shot up 103% in the past few weeks, and queries on "children of men" spiked 1,219%.
But it's not just the flick that's making him so popular. The announcement that the handsome hottie is the new face for Lancôme men's products has searchers atwitter. Word has it that he wasn't chosen just for his looks, but for his work ethic. That ought to make a guy feel good.
For now, the actor's buzz isn't rubbing off on Lancôme, but just wait until the ad campaigns launch. We think a few people will be checking out their products—and not just the dudes, either.
