As regular as swallows making their way back to San Juan Capistrano, the return of "American Idol" to the nation's airwaves always portends a contestant scandal. Thanks to aspiring starlet Antonella Barba, this year's installment of Idol has already locked down the scandalous element. The comely brunette with the shaky voice is doing her part to ensure this season won't be scandal-free.
After she secured her spot on the Idol stage, searches soared after a series of mildly racy photos hit the Web. The embarrassing pics (including one of her on the toilet!) were mostly innocuous, but they sparked searches on the fresh-faced vocalist.
Putting the brouhaha behind her, fans stuck with beautiful Barba after she butchered an Aerosmith tune in her first night on Idol's main stage. Either she's built a serious fan base or the folks at votefortheworst.com continue to play their cruel joke on the viewing public.
But after squeaking by the first cut, a new and more damaging set of Barba snaps stormed the Web. The photos show Barba (or someone who looks a lot like her) performing intimate acts and of course, searchers just had to see them. Queries on "antonella barba pictures," "antonella barba hot," and "antonella barba idol" all soared. Searches we can't discuss in polite company also took off as curious folks got specific.
Will the second series of naughty photos lead to her ouster from the show? Even if she gets the boot and is relegated to soft-core infamy, she's already made a name for herself in Buzz.

The only reason she has gotten as far as she has is because of her looks. Even the dramatic ending of the Hollywood auditions proved it. Having her and I think her name was Trish or Trisha (how soon we forget) come in at the very end. Everyone knows the other girl was SO much better than Antonella but Antonella went forward and the good girl went home. I mean Antonella FORGOT HER LINES for heaven's sake!! An idol no-no, which blew people out of the competition in past episodes when the "judges" were judging, but evidently not for the pretty people.

I think, they should leave her alone. See how far, she can get. I like her voice! Who ever is putting pictures out of her, must be the biggest jerk on earth!

Her looks far outweigh her talent. My problem is this article does not cover the reasons for this scandal. What pictures? Where were they posted? How were they compremising? There was not enough information in there, just fluff and teaser. I really expected more from yahoo...

I say just leave the young lady alone. Someone is always doing or showing something to bring another down. What she does is between her and God all mighty.

i think if she is as bad as other people say she is, she willn't make it to the top 12 on American Idol. As far as the pictures go in our computer age pictures can be made very easy. I also think if she is any good and can make it to the top so what about the pictures. you can see nudatiy on tv every day just turn on your tv, or go to the beach. Just go into some of the school today.

I am really surprised that you think the photos were "mild and "were mostly innocuous", we may all have sex, but I dont' think we should be taking pictures of the act...pictures giving head, to me, is not innocuous..I am shocked that you think her going to the bathroom is the picture worth mentioning..please...dump her...she will be dumped soon enough any way...

I think she should get kicked off. I remember seasons ago when there was a girl that was an awesome singer but they booted her because they found out something she had done in her past. Whats fair is fair!!!
