Everyone loves an underdog. This weekend's UFC event reaped the benefits of a huge upset to stir up buzz. Searches on the UFC doubled over the weekend after Matt Serra knocked out heavily favored welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre at UFC 69.
Serra won the fourth edition of the popular UFC reality franchise, "The Ultimate Fighter" and earned his title shot. Even with his recent emergence, he faced long odds in going up against St. Pierre. The shocking first-round TKO caused Serra's searches to jump 1,344% and searches for UFC 69 jumped 262% as word spread across the Web.
