By Mike Krumboltz

Over 50% of the NBA's teams make the playoffs. In other words, the event is about as exclusive as Paris Hilton's bedroom. Still, that "come one, come all" attitude hasn't slowed hoops-related buzz. Searches on "nba playoffs" are up 278% this week.

It's too early to predict which of the thousand qualifing teams will take home the trophy, so we ranked the squads according to their popularity in Search. If buzz translates to playoff success, NBA fans could be in for a surprise champion this year...

  1. Golden State Warriors
  2. Los Angeles Lakers
  3. Dallas Mavericks
  4. Chicago Bulls
  5. Houston Rockets
  6. Phoenix Suns
  7. Miami Heat
  8. Detroit Pistons
  1. San Antonio Spurs
  2. Denver Nuggets
  3. Orlando Magic
  4. Utah Jazz

I THINK the nba players who has given so much to the game of basketball, has never WON a ring should get a ring, a ring of movement, thankfulness, for giving the FANS YEARS, YEARS of joy and if we, THE FANS, have to send in one dollar to pay for these one of a kind rings.
