A Plate of Kitty Litter What?
We expect questionable terms to surface in Search around Halloween. But nothing prepared us for this week's surge of buzz for "kitty litter cake." Yes, kitty litter cake.
Over the past seven days, thousands of people searched the Web for the recipe of a tasty confection that looks like the aftereffects of the average house cat's trip to its box. (Never fear; it isn't.)
And kids? Prepare yourselves. Females between the ages of 30 and 45 account for the bulk of those seeking the devilish dessert. In other words, your mom is out to get you. The woman who gave birth to you is now secretly planning to serve you a big slice of fake feline doo-doo.
Studies in grossology don't stop there. Demand for "gross halloween recipes" is at its peak. And "easy halloween desserts" (+977%) and "halloween desserts" (+542%) are coursing through the top movers. They may not scream "yuck," but believe us—many of them look it.
