I bought a Garmin GPS and found it is very easy to use and program. I did play with a Tom Tom in a store that had lots of different kinds of GPS and played with others also but found Garmin to be easy.

I bought a Tom Tom and it was a big mistake. First use it took us 5 miles from where we were going and proudly announced we had reached our destination. It tells me I'm home a half mile from home. Asked the company for a refund and they don't refund the money. When a GPS system comes up in a conversation with friends I refer to it as Dum Dum. We are stuck with it but if anyone wants to buy it we will take half price and show the invoice. Sincerely Emmett Melton 813-634-1133 Sun City Center Fl.

Moving to a new city can be a daunting experience for some people. I bought my wife a Garmin GPS when we moved to the Greater Austin Texas area. The biggest problem she encountered with it, was the lack of updated maps. The street we live on has been in existance for over three years, but was not on the map. Neither are most of the new roads, especially the toll roads. Everytime I try to get updadted maps, I am told I have the latest. Being three years out of date is totally unacceptable.

When I was on Hurricaine relief for Rita and Katrina I had the Hertz rental with the never lost system which was worth it's weight in Gold. The first things that went were the street signs and when trying to find a certain location it would have been much more difficult if not impossible without this system.
