J.Lo's Babies Bring in the Bucks
Diva Sells Photo Rights for $6 Million
A few years ago, Jennifer Lopez was everywhere you looked. Since then, the dashing diva has dialed back her public persona, giving the public an opportunity to become obsessed with other over-exposed celebrities. Well, move over, Paris! J.Lo. is back in the Buzz thanks to her unborn twins.
You see, a celebrity with a bun in the oven has certain inalienable rights. Among them is the right to sell baby photos to the highest bidder. And that's exactly what Lopez and husband Marc Anthony have done. The pair sold exclusive rights to People magazine for six million dollars (reportedly). Sheesh, People could have created its own bionic man for the price of these pics.
While Ms. Lopez has yet to announce the names of her impending miracles, we thought a look at the most popular baby name searches may help her in her quest. Below are the top twenty from the past week, all yours for the bargain price of zero million dollars. Enjoy!

What an extremely sad shape America is in, and seems to be worsening day-by-day when so much precious time, effort, energy and obsessiveness about J-Low, as well as other stars, and/or "so called" starts, even those that are not even any kind and/or type of star yet (American Idol), but whose nearly every single move and life style (or lack thereof)is constantly the subject of the so-called news stories, the meda, magizine and tabloids, in general. Enough already!!!!! No doubt about it, if I, and/or anybody else with good and common sense were able to get sombody ..., including People Magazine, to pay big bucks like the amount J-low and her husband will get for selling the exclusive right to pictures of their twin babies, why shouldn't J-Low and hubby take advantage of such an opportunity? I know that if I were in that same situation (able to get a huge amount of money given to me, for so little effort, at least in terms of having to work hard and/or do anything to earn those big bucks, for the most part) I certainly would go for it!!!
I realize that America is not only known as a place of great opportunity, but really can be, and often is for so many individuals/people, but if/when stories, and the like, such as the one about the amount of money that is willingly given and/or spent on a lot of the things on which Americans, and/or many who come, visit and live in America do with money (big expensive and very lavish weddings, cars, clothes, houses, entertainment, travel, etc.) do with it ..., no wonder so many other leaders, people and others in countries/places have lost much respect for America. I love America very much, and I know I always will. But the stupidity, foolishness, self-absorbed, greed, dirt, filth, immoral, fake and growing abuse of babies, children, adults and humanity, in general is too far gone, out of control. But is often what prompts people from other cultures and places to want to come experience and give the same thing!!!

how about we the public play a little game with people magazine. how about NO ONE buys any copies of the issue with the baby pictures. people & other magazines might get the idea that 6 million dollars is a waste of money for anyone's baby pics. it seems to me that marc & jennifer anthony are just like the other celebrity refuse like paris hilton & britney spears.

ridiculous! 6 million could have fed and clothed over 100 million unfortunate women, children, homeless, victims of house, fire & abuse, neglect, victims of medical needs, etc. truly sad.

I agree w crikeyusa1, it's stupid and moronic. JLO, que lastima, what a shame. Are you and Marc so hard up for money??? My friends and I will not buy the magazine. We will probably not make a dent on the 6M, but that's ok. You just lost your class/esa.

I agree with 'attractive...' that money could've been used for the needy, but is instead for BABY PICTURES! Shame on you People magazine. I'm not your customer anymore.
