The Bush Boogie Woogie
The President Dances and Sings Through Buzz
Is President Bush loosening up? On March 5, while waiting for John McCain to arrive for a press conference, the commander in chief danced a little jig for the reporters.
The surprise performance produced a spate of presidential toe-tapping articles in Buzz, including a post from the PhillyBurbs blog and a Yahoo! News article that quotes the Texas Republican as saying he's "just going to tap dance the day away."
Sadly for soft-shoe aficionados, he almost immediately retreated into the White House—but searches for the Bush boogie pursued the moment. Queries for "bush dance," "bush tap dance," and "bush tap dancing" skipped upwards.
The president's lighter side emerged again four days later at the annual Gridiron Club political roast. A cell phone video captured him seranading the group with a song poking fun at some of his notable setbacks. A Citizen Sugar post with the video immediately perked up in Buzz. Searches for "bush singing" and "george bush singing" continue to croon.
