When Quentin Tarantino announces that he's making a movie, people listen. The auteur behind "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill" recently revealed that he has not only finished the script for his next film ("Inglorious Bastards"), he's already thinking about casting.
According to several articles in the Buzz, Mr. Tarantino would love Brad Pitt for the lead in the World War II film. Alas, there may be a few snags with that plan. First, Mr. Pitt will probably have his hands full with the impending birth of his twins. And second, according to New York Magazine, Angelina Jolie's hunky hubby is already signed on to do another film. That could mean he won't be available for a loooong time.
Scheduling conflicts or not, searches on the flick are already on the rise and several posts have garned the attention of readers. A blog from PhillyBurbs notes that Mr. Tarantino would like to start shooting in October and have the film premiere at Cannes in May, 2009. If that's really the case, QT should start filming soon... with or without Brad Pitt.
