What's the Buzz: Destination Vacation
Attention, office dwellers! We're well past the midway point of summer, and Labor Day weekend is coming soon. This has caused an awful lot of last-minute e-cation planning in Search.
...Bonjour, Mickey Mouse. Everything sounds better in French. That must be the reasoning behind le search for "disneyland paris," which shot up 290%. According to the Independent, the theme park "is on track to set a record for visitors this year and may see more guests than its U.S. counterparts." Oh la la.
...Good clean fun. Closer to home, searches for "noah's ark water park" (+168%) in Wisconsin have been popular, along with the "national park service" (+230%), and "grand canyon." (+186%). That's summer vacation, Brady Bunch style.
Like a Virgin. Interest in the "madonna inn" (+387%) is surging, especially among those moved by kitsch. That themed motel in San Luis Obispo must be seen to be believed. Bon voyage.
