Pregnant Man Really Delivers
Guys, please don't try this one at home. Thomas Beatie, who you'll remember as the "Pregnant Man," gave birth to his second child, a healthy baby boy, People magazine reported.
Beatie was born female but had breast removal surgery and legally changed sex from female to male. But Beatie wanted a baby, and so he kept his female reproductive parts, which enabled him to get pregnant and give birth.
According to OMG, the transgendered Beatie told "The Oprah Winfrey Show" that having babies did not make him feel feminine: "I'm a man, I just happen to be a pregnant man."
The pregnant papa successfully delivered a girl last year, causing the Buzz to go baby crazy. Searches on "pregnant man" rose over 26,000%. Queries on "thomas beatie" surged 3,000%. And with the couple welcoming baby number two, Buzz on "thomas beatie" immediately swelled. No news yet on the new baby's name.

Bad Dads
Is there some kind of rule that calls for dads of young celebs to act even less mature than their starlet daughters?
While the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears are hardly role models, they seem to take their bad-behavior cues from their worst-acting dads. But this new level of bad parenting, making its way up Buzz today, seems to merit a higher level of recognition. Let's call it the Baddies.
Party Baddie. That would go to Hilary Duff's dad, who is in the midst of messy divorce proceedings with Duff's mom. Bob Duff was actually jailed for 10 days for contempt after he and his former wife could not agree over the $25,000 for daughter Hilary's 21st birthday party. Hey, they only turn 21 once. According to People.com, Hilary's mom, Susan Duff, was heard saying as her ex was led away in cuffs, "This isn't what I wanted." No, she wanted $25,000!
Paycheck Baddie. Britney Spears' dad, Jamie, gets an honorable mention for complete chutzpah, demanding to be paid for his parenting. Granted, Britney can't have been the easiest kid to raise, but still, that is the general idea behind being a dad, no? Defamer notes that papa Jamie Spears is already picking up a tidy paycheck of $2,500 a week for the care of Britney (cooking, cleaning, running errands), but he wants some retroactive pay for "pro bono parenting," as the L.A. gossip blog puts it.
Low-Life Baddie. Hands down that award goes to Hayden Panettiere's dad, who was arrested for spousal abuse after hitting his wife. According to Us magazine, Panettiere was moved to violence after feeling disrespected. We're sure that was just the thing to get more respect from his family.

All in the (Jolie) Family
Angelina Jolie isn't popular. She's way beyond that. When it comes to the "Wanted" star and mother of six, we need a new word for "popular"—a term that means "crushing, limitless, and white-hot obsession." Or something like it.
Sure, her mega-wattage partner ups the ante. But lately, he has seemed almost secondary. Yesterday, Jolie cracked the top 100 searches on Yahoo!. No other human came close to joining that list. Now, the irresistible force that surrounds her has drawn in members of her extended family, too.
Over the past week, the response to the luscious lady's new children sparked colossal surges in queries like "angelina jolie brad pitt baby pictures" (+1,797%) and "angelina jolie's twins" (+1,488%). That's not surprising, but the Jolie-aganza doesn't stop there.
Angelina's father, Jon Voight, spiked 135% in Search on Tuesday, while her brother, James Haven, leapt nearly 420%. In the past days, mother Marcheline Betrand and ex-hubbies Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton have also posted double or triple digit gains.
The way things are going, we'll soon be seeing queries like "angelina jolie second cousin removed" or "angelina jolie's grandma." Actually, we shouldn't even joke about that. When you're blasting through worlds far, far beyond popular, anything is possible.

Photo Scandals, Miley Cyrus-Style
Is this Mileygate? All day, articles, searches, and outrage related to "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus have bombarded the Buzz. What about? Not a wardrobe malfunction or a cheap paparazzi shot, but a studio portrait of the Disney mega-star by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.
To quickly recap the rumpus: The 15-year-old TV phenom posed for the A-list shutterbug for a feature in June's Vanity Fair. Now, the images are out—and Miley doesn't like what she sees. According to the actress, the pictures were supposed to be "artistic." Instead, she just feels "embarassed" by them. In particular, the teen performer objects to one photo in which she's shown looking over her shoulder, provocatively revealing a bare back.
So far, most of the articles to hit the Buzz have tracked Cyrus' response to the image and Leibovitz's apologetic reply. Already, though, some blogs have dug deeper. Huffington Post not only picked up an engaging item about Vanity Fair's "history" of "embarrassing" stars, but it also turned to celebrity-on-celebrity coverage, publishing Jamie Lee Curtis's take on the back brouhaha.
New York Magazine's site took it one step further, compiling blog-on-blog coverage of the event. (Is this really an "event"?) Meanwhile, People.com resorted to polling the public: "Will the photos help or hurt Miley?" the site queried. In Search, demand for "miley cyrus photo scandal" skyrocketed. Don't take it too hard, Miley. Behind every successful celebrity lurks at least one "photo scandal" search spike.

DWTS: Who's Taking the Lead
A test of wills, pirouettes, and groin-first slides across a slippery dance floor marks this sixth outing of "Dancing with the Stars." The Baltimore Sun went so far as to call the ABC series "one of the two largest and most influential stages in American pop culture," thanks to its sex appeal, broad outreach, and built-in diversity.
Weighty words, but the sentiment is echoed in Search. Every single state in the union except one checked out “DWTS” online. The exception? North Dakota, which perhaps has been preoccupied by a mummified dinosaur.
Fans clearly enjoy watching their old favorites return to the spotlight, as well. Take Steve Guttenberg. Among the 12 competitors, the Police Academy actor's searches spiked the fastest. Fans of the show also sought the scoop on "jason taylor divorce," "how old is priscilla presley," "priscilla presley plastic surgery" (a query that first surfaced after her startling appearance on "American Idol"), "kristi yamaguchi brett hadican," "shannon elizabeth american pie," and "marlee matlin biography."
Here are top 12 competitors ranked by their performance in Search. Expect a shuffle soon when talent trumps nostalgia.
