Today's buzz.
- New 7 wonders of nature (+4,445%). It's time to name all-new natural wonders, so organizers have put it up to a global poll. Over a billion people are expected to vote online, from over 222 countries, on such organic monuments as the Great Barrier Reef and Niagra Falls.
- Satyam Computer Services (+2,043%). What's been dubbed the Enron of India admitted to apparently faking profits for years.
- Where the Wild Things Are (+571%). The live-action version of the Maurice Sendak children's book is catching buzz. The movie, not out till the fall and directed by Spike Jonze and written by wunderkind Dave Eggers, is causing the curious to search for an unauthorized trailer.
- Real World Brooklyn (+221%). The reality show original is finally coming to Brooklyn. Let the backstabbing and gossiping begin!
- Laura Bush (+124%). The First Lady's parting gift: a new, pricey set of dishes for the White House. Bush has also caught buzz recently for scoring a gift for herself: a pricey book deal for her memoir.
