Your start-of-week buzz.
- Kate Winslet (+2,634%). The "Titanic" actress collected two Golden Globe awards for "Revolutionary Road" and "The Reader," only the third time that a person has won two Globes for acting in the same year. Fans of the British star searched for "kate winslet and leonardo dicaprio," "kate winslet photo gallery," and "kate winslet movies."
- White phosphorus (+2,460%). Searches spiked on the term after the human rights group Human Rights Watch accused Israel of using the incendiary agent against Gaza. The chemical causes skin to peel off its victims.
- Portuguese water dog (+1,657%). The appointment for first dog is closer to conclusion. President-elect Obama announced that his family is choosing between two low-allergy breeds: the water dog and the labradoodle.
- Peanut butter recall (+543%). Ohio is the latest state to issue a recall of certain brands of peanut butter. Minnesota first announced it had discovered the salmonella contamination in a tub of peanut butter distributed to schools and hospitals.
- Flying car (+172%). It's a bird. It's a plane. It's a flying car! A ride from London to Timbuktu in a pimped up dune buggy that's more "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" than "2001," will part drive, part fly to its destination.
