Our top picks from the day's hottest searches.

  1. Snow cream recipes (Searches increased by 506%). The winter version of making lemonade out of lemons: Whip up a batch if you live in a snow-covered state.
  2. Dr. Seuss birthday (+191%). Will we celebrate in a house? Will we celebrate with a mouse?
  3. Enzyme catalase (+763%). It's not just stress or the kids. Blame this enzyme for turning you gray.
  4. New York 1 (+370%). New Yorkers are tuning in to the local news channel to get the latest on the major snowstorm that left a foot of snow, causing schools to close for the first time in five years.
  5. Tool Academy (+370%). We're not sure if this is the latest guilty pleasure. But charm school for "tools" — turning dating disasters into courteous helpmates —could at least make for good TV.
