2. Oklahoma City Bombing (+752%). In a grim anniversary week that includes Tiananmen Square protests and the Columbine High shootings, people observed the April 19, 1995 domestic attack on the downtown federal building.

Rhyming and Searching

By Mike Krumboltz

Poetry can be beautiful. It can express truth, love, despair, and hope. Unfortunately, such poems are rare. The vast majority—those seen on MySpace blogs and in the locked diaries of 14-year-olds, are actually pretty awful.

Now, with Valentine's Day approaching, we're seeing a surge in poetry searches. Old standards like "love poems" and "friendship poems" are on the rise, but so are some unusual curiosities ("baby shower poems," anyone?). Mixing the popular with the weird, we've tracked down the top 30 poem searches for your reading and rhyming pleasure...

Green, Green Everywhere

By Erik Gunther
Mon, November 14, 2005, 3:00 am PST

Recent news of a green puppy (+66%) born to a normal-colored golden retriever in California filled our heads with zany visions worthy of any children's book. "Clifford the Big Red Dog" meets "Green Eggs and Ham," maybe?

Our creative juices flowing, we decided to compose our own rhyme. Hardly a Seuss or Sendak classic, but we did our best. In homage to Wasabi the green puppy, we somewhat proudly present a Buzz Log ditty in celebration of a few of the top "greens" in Search...

Green, Green Everywhere
Green, green puppy, have you seen?
You love Green Day if you're a teen.

Is your team the Green Bay Packers?
Do you like green tea and crackers?

Eva Green, she's such a dream.
Tom Green's jokes will make you scream.

With a green card, can't go wrong.
With Al Green we sing along.

At Bowling Green, to set you right,
You may learn Gawain's Green Knight.

Green sea turtles swim about.
Green Street Hooligans fight and shout.

A million searches here and there.
At the Buzz, we stop and stare.
Please believe us if you dare,
There's just green, green everywhere!
