Wolf T-Shirt Will Rock Your World
One of the most important articles of clothing in the hipster's arsenal is the "ironic t-shirt." Over the past few days, one t-shirt in particular has hipsters salivating all over their skinny jeans.
We speak of the now infamous "three wolf moon t-shirt" featured on Amazon.com. Why all the fanfare for this specific t-shirt when there are a zillion other, equally cheesy t-shirts available on the Web? Credit goes to a collection of hilariously in-depth and worshipful reviews featured on the mega-retailer's site.
The reviews, with tongues firmly in cheeks, speak of the t-shirts awesome powers. One reviewer writes that the shirt not only covers his girth, it also "attracts women." Another fan writes that upon seeing the shirt, he dropped what he was doing and ordered it next day air. His only regret: Amazon doesn't offer same-day service.
Still, although the reviews are overwhelmingly positive, not everyone is handing out five stars. One cautious reviewer notes that buyers should beware. While the shirt promises three wolves, how can we be sure that the pictures aren't of the same wolf, but taken from different angles? Whoa, consider our minds blown.
According to BBC, sales of the cheesy item are up 2,300%. At this rate, we should expect to see an Old Navy version by next week.
