Words Fail Us

Somewhere Homer Simpson is smiling. And drooling. For reasons that are both obvious and unfathomable, bacon flavored vodka is frying up the Search box.

Of course, the bacon craze is far from new. However, this latest trend -- mixing the scent of burning pig flesh with mind-numbing spirits, has made a particularly strong impression.

Queries on "bacon flavored vodka" recently surged 825%, and lookups for "bacon vodka" also posted sizzling gains. Right now, the fad seems to be limited to certain pork-crazed areas in the Pacific Northwest. Time will tell if this piggy comes to a market near you.
